Sequoia NP
While the name suggests the presence of giant sequoia trees, this park offers much more than meets the eye. Beyond the majestic trees, there are incredible hiking trails that showcase the park’s diverse beauty beyond the towering sequoias.
Trails to see big trees
Big Trees Trail
This is a nice walk family friendly and has 1.3 mile.
General Sherman Tree Trail
This short 0.8-mile hike is an absolute must-do in the park.
Other trails
Moro Rock
Moro Rock is the perfect spot to catch a sunset. While the hike itself is only 0.4 miles, it’s important to note that it involves an uphill climb, making it a moderately challenging.
Marble Falls Trail
Marble Falls hike is an incredible trail that is approximately 7.4 miles. The highlight of this hike awaits you at the end—a chance to jump into the water near the falls. What’s more, we were fortunate enough to have the trail to ourselves during our visit. The absence of crowds allowed us to fully enjoy water dip.
Kings Canyon NP
If you find yourself in Sequoia National Park and are short on time, a visit to Kings Canyon is highly recommended. This scenic destination is perfect for a drive without the need for an extensive hike. It’s perfect place for camping.
