Olympic National Park is located in Washington state, in the Pacific Northwest. It is amazing that in one park you have coast, rain forest and lakes. When you visit park take a tent and camp there. Spend there at least 3 days to see everything and enjoy. You can fly to Seattle and from here rent car. Park is about 2 hrs.
Check low tides pools in coastal part to see anemones, crabs, starfish or sea cucumbers. We saw a lot on Rialto Beach.
We start our trip with Mount Rainier National Park so on the way to Olympic we stopped in Port Angeles for first night. Place is around 2.5 hrs from airport Seattle – Tacoma. We chose for camping Mora Campground. Each campsite is separated from others and has place for fire. Please note that you need dry wood because it is rain forest so is difficult to make fire. On the way you will have lot places with fire wood but check that is dry.
