Haleakala National Park is in Hawaii on beautiful Maui Island. We visited this island in November. You should check weather before fly because rain is very often there. This island is not very big but still you need few days to explore. We had only two day but we did lot of stuff.
Snorkel
We did snorkel with Redline Raftin – Molokini Crater and South Maui Coast Adventure. Overall it took around 5h. Boat is fast and because you start so early around 6:30 am, you are on snorkel spots before other tours. It is nice place to snorkel and see spinning dolphins and turtles. We saw turtles but very far away but dolphins were no. 1. We had lunch on boat and around us were so many dolphins showing jumps and spins – amazing
On this tour is really nice breakfast – cinnamon rolls and fruits, for lunch is buffet (bread, ham, cheese, veggie, pasta salad) – was really good idea and specially if you are vegetarian, we enjoyed.
Drive around
Island is great place to just drive around without plan and stop when do you want.
Iao Valley
Iao Valley State Monument is beautiful place to visit when you can feel Hawaiian beauty. Hike is very short about 0.5 mile up. They closed trail more up but still is nice to visit this place.
Haleakala National Park
Haleakala National Park is worth to see. Even if you do not want hike too long you can still do Sliding Sands Trail till you want. We hiked maybe around 1,5 mile and was beautiful.
Garden of Eden
If you will have time visit Garden of Eden. You can see here lot of plants and trees e.g. Rainbow eucalyptus.
