Kauai - perfect place for relax and wedding

Hawaii is beautiful place with unique nature. We chose Kauai for our wedding and honey moon. Kauai is very green Island and with lot of rain. If you watched Jurassic Park part 1 you will recognize this view, because this is place where dinosaurs were alive at least in movie 🙂

Hiking

First day we hike Hanakapi’ai Falls Trail. It is about 7 – 8 miles beautiful trail, some part is coast, some in jungle. There is very humid so take lot of water and use sunscreen. On the way you have small river and if you will feel just jump to cold water.

We did also short 1.6 mile hike – Sleeping Giant (Nounou Mountain). Very nice, not too steep and on the end with nice view and bench. Interesting were trees growing in even rows.

We recommend hike (about 1 mile) to Queens Bath. Take good shoes or sandals because there can be very slippery on the way. Be careful there because it is easy to get swept out to sea.

Rafting

If you are in Kauai do not miss rafting along Na Pali Coast State Park. Of course you can do hike along if you are prepared but it is 22 miles…We chose rafting with snorkel and caves. We saw turtles and dolphins, which followed us. It was great adventures. We stopped in Nualolo Kai area for lunch and snorkel.

Jurassic Falls Landing Adventure – Island Helicopters

Awesome tour was Jurassic Falls Landing Adventure. It took about 1.5h and view is just amazing. We chose tour with landing near famous fall from first Jurassic Park movie. Must see.
